The University of Georgia is offering the option of shaving a year off its joint JD-MBA program, allowing students to graduate in three years with a law degree and a master’s in business administration instead of four.

The accelerated JD-MBA, which starts next fall, will allow students to save “both time and money while gaining the necessary knowledge to succeed in today’s marketplace,” said Georgia Law Dean Bo Rutledge in an announcement.
