The Am Law 100 rankings are out—and five Atlanta-based firms are again among the country's 100 highest-grossing law firms. King & Spalding led the pack, posting 2016 revenue of $1,057,500,000. That puts it at No. 27 in the rankings, matching its placement last year.

The other Atlanta firms in the Am Law 100 are Alston & Bird (No. 48 with $730.5 million in revenue), Troutman Sanders (No. 67 with $490 million in revenue), Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart (No. 77 with $427 million in revenue), and Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton (No. 80 with $416.5 million in revenue). Twenty-three other Am Law 100 firms have offices in Atlanta.

The American Lawyer reports that Am Law 100 firms grew revenue by an average of 4.3 percent in 2016—up from 2.7 percent in 2015.
