The Chief Justice's Commission on Professionalism is looking for a new executive director.

Avarita Hanson, who has served as the commission's executive director for 11 years, has announced that she'll retire at the end of August.

“I am extremely honored, blessed and grateful to have worked with so many Georgia judges, attorneys, bar leaders and staff to bring the issues of professionalism to the forefront of their lives and work,” Hanson said in a statement.
