Regarding your coverage of the death of Judge Marvin Shoob: In 1957, Judge Shoob and his good friend, James P. McLain, formed a law partnership known as Shoob & McLain. That firm continues to this day as McLain & Merritt. Judge Shoob was a man of complete integrity and was the living definition of class. The partners, associates and staff of McLain & Merritt express their appreciation and gratitude for his leadership and guidance as our founder. Our sympathies go out to Judge Shoob’s wife, children, grandchildren and extended family. His was a life well lived and he will be sorely missed by all.
