The Georgia Supreme Court has appointed four members to the reconstituted Judicial Qualifications Commission, the group responsible for disciplinary oversight of judges.

Chief Justice P. Harris Hines announced the appointments Tuesday. They will take effect July 1.

The new members are: DeKalb County State Court Judge Stacey Hydrick, Eastern Circuit Superior Court Judge Louisa Abbot of Savannah, Atlanta Circuit Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney and Jamala McFadden, an Atlanta employment attorney. Their terms and responsibilities vary.
