Practice Profile: At Lewis Brisbois, Hummel is a member of the general liability and workers' compensation practices. He also practiced in workers' compensation at Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele. He has experience in litigation and has handled hundreds of claims for a variety of insurance companies, Fortune 500 companies, large corporations, small businesses and self-insurers.
Hummel also has spoken on panels about psychological injuries and how Georgia handles those cases.
Leadership Activity: Hummel is secretary of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia. He also served as president of the Cobb County Bar Association's Younger Lawyers Division until April, where he expanded the bar association's involvement in high school mock trials and planned a mentorship program with Marietta schools.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.
