Practice Profile: A native of Douglas County, Emadi handles the prosecution of many of the office's most-serious cases, including murders, vehicular homicides and serial armed robberies. He has served as a trial line attorney, a Crimes Against Women and Children Unit prosecutor and now as a prosecutor in the Major Crimes Unit.

He served as lead prosecutor on a case involving a group sentenced to prison for their part in a racially-charged crime. Their convoy of trucks, flying the Confederate battle flag, pulled up to a birthday party for an 8-year-old black child, where they threatened the family and yelled racial slurs. In 2015, Emadi tried Dewey Green, a defendant who was convicted for the death of a 53-year-old woman.

Leadership Activity: Emadi is on the board of directors overseeing the management of the S.H.A.R.E. House, a family violence crisis center in Douglasville. He also is on the alumni board of the Georgia State University College of Law.
