Hall Booth Smith is rapidly continuing its Southeastern expansion with another outpost outside its Atlanta headquarters, this time in Asheville, North Carolina.
The 180-lawyer firm announced a new Jacksonville, Florida office just two weeks ago, adding five lawyers who handle medical malpractice and other defense litigation.
The new Asheville office, Hall Booth's second in North Carolina, will also focus on med-mal defense. The Asheville office gives Hall Booth 14 offices in six Georgia locations, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida. The firm's other North Carolina office is in Charlotte, with four lawyers.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
