A report Friday that Dentons partner Randy Evans is likely to be President Donald Trump's pick to be ambassador to Luxembourg means the Atlanta Big Law community could get another alumnus in the ambassador ranks.

Evans, a Republican National Committee member, couldn't be reached by the Daily Report on Friday. He declined to comment in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution article citing “two people with direct knowledge” of his chances for the job.

In 1996, President Bill Clinton tapped Wyche Fowler, a former Powell Goldstein partner and former U.S. senator, to be ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
