President Donald Trump announced his choices late Friday for two new United States attorneys in Georgia.

Trump said he plans to nominate Byung J. “BJay” Pak as U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia and Charles Peeler for the same job in the Middle District of Georgia. The president said these two candidates—along with others in Alaska, South Dakota, Tennessee and Wyoming—share his vision for “Making America Safe Again.”

Hinting at a smooth confirmation ahead, both of Georgia's U.S. senators immediately endorsed Pak and Peeler in a joint statement.
