Joel Katz Is Billboard's Lawyer of the Year
The Greenberg Traurig lawyer and his longtime partner Bobby Rosenbloum both won recognition as attorney A-listers for the music industry.

Billboard Magazine has tapped Joel Katz as its Lawyer of the Year. Katz's longtime partner Bobby Rosenbloum, 48, also made Billboard's annual roster of A-list music lawyers. They are the only Atlanta lawyers on the Billboard list, out of 61 honorees nationwide.
Katz, 73, chairs Greenberg Traurig's global entertainment and media practice. He merged his entertainment boutique with Greenberg to start its Atlanta office in 1998.
Rosenbloum, a Daily Report On the Rise pick in 2004 (who revealed then that his favorite musician was Billy Joel), represents artists, labels and digital music providers in IP as well as transactional matters.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.
