When Georgia State University College of Law students went back to class on Monday, none was there for the school's new LL.M. in health law. But officials are working to change that by next fall.

GSU Law announced in early June its new LL.M. program offered through its Center for Law, Health & Society. The deadline for applications for the fall 2017 class, however, was July 1—tight timing due to the university's approval process, the center's associate director, Stacie Kershner, said.

“The timing wasn't good to roll it out so quickly, so we're really doing a [marketing] push this fall,” she said.
