Correction: This story has been updated to correct that Eugene Butt said William Clowdis Jr. made misstatements to his expert witness, Christine Mast, who then included them in her deposition, and a lawsuit filed by attorney Mark Mueller against James Potts has settled. The story also clarifies there are no allegations Louis Levenson was involved in the Illinois incident.

A day after the Georgia Supreme Court declined to order reciprocal discipline for a lawyer sanctioned in Illinois, Atlanta attorney James H. “Jimmy” Potts II was in a DeKalb County courtroom fighting a legal malpractice suit he said involved the “same people.”
