On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to Byung J. “”BJay” Pak of Chalmers Pak Burch & Adams in Atlanta on his nomination by President Donald Trump and confirmation by the U.S. Senate to serve as the new U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia.
Mr. Pak will benefit from his 19 years of experience in the legal profession and his distinguished tenure as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, serving a Gwinnett County district, and as vice chair of the House Judiciary Non-Civil Committee. He also served as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney's Office in Atlanta for six years.
Mr. Pak's acceptance of this new position is evidence of his continued dedication to serving the public and the justice system. His fellow members of the State Bar of Georgia wish him well in this new capacity of leadership.
