What does it mean to be elite? The choice part; a superior group; a typewriter type providing 12 characters to the inch? That's the dictionary definition. For Jill Arnold, an attorney at Pursley Friese Torgrimson in Atlanta, it's about running.
Arnold, who specializes in zoning and land-use law, is a member of the Atlanta Track Club's Elite Team, a superior group of runners that compete at the local and national level. The team is comprised of 30 runners and competes in local and national events. The group also participates in training programs throughout the Atlanta area, helping other runners prepare for races such as the Peachtree Road Race here in Atlanta.
Arnold talks about how she got started in cross country and track and why Atlanta is a great running town.
