When the Gwinnett County School District hired Villie Jones as band director for South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, he had already impregnated a student at a North Carolina high school where he previously had taught band, a federal lawsuit claims.

The suit, filed July 6 by a former South Gwinnett band student, claims that Jones’ alleged sexual impropriety with a student should have been a red flag.
