The diversity within and among law firms today creates an array of methods for mothers and caregivers to move up the ranks throughout their career while maintaining a healthy work/life balance, but two ideas seem to present themselves as common denominators. The first is the concept of setting your own narrative—mothers and caregivers should find freedom to take ownership of their professional and personal goals. The second involves mutual flexibility on the parts of individual caregivers and the organizations employing them.
