Weinberg, Wheeler, Hudgins, Gunn & Dial has acquired litigation boutique RichardsonClement in Birmingham, Alabama, adding four more attorneys to the outpost it established there last year.

Wade Richardson and David Malick joined Weinberg as partners from RichardsonClement with associates John Walter and Shara Haden, Weinberg announced Tuesday. That gives the Atlanta-based litigation firm six lawyers in Birmingham.

It added another partner, Stephen Walsh, as a partner from Adams and Reese earlier in March after opening the Birmingham office a year ago with Jonathan Head, the former chief legal officer of Balfour Beatty Construction.

Weinberg, which marks its 20th anniversary this year, also has offices in Las Vegas, Orlando and Miami.

Weinberg's managing partner, David Dial, in a statement called the RichardsonClement lawyers “an outstanding group of seasoned trial lawyers.”

“Wade and David have strong reputations as client-focused litigators,” Dial continued.

Richardson has more than 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer, representing clients in tort and business litigation, including copyright and trademark disputes, product liability, fraud and business disputes.

Malick manages an international trademark portfolio and copyright matters for a large manufacturer and defends employers and companies in litigation including business disputes, personal injury, workers' compensation, federal black lung, and employment claims. He is also a drummer.
