The Georgia Court of Appeals refused to let a lawyer accused of helping his client swindle a group of investors out of $3.5 million to be dismissed from a lawsuit, ruling that—while aiding and abetting a fraud may not be actionable claims in Georgia—the allegations are sufficient to maintain fraud claims against the attorney.

The ruling upholds a Fulton County judge who denied a motion to dismiss claims against Michael Siavage of counsel at business law boutique Trusted Counsel Ashley.
