Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp appointed four more women to the bench Friday.

The appointments fill judicial vacancies in Bibb, DeKalb and Gwinnett counties.

Kemp named Sharrell Lewis to the Bibb County State Court. Lewis is currently chief assistant solicitor general for the Office of the Bibb County Solicitor-General. Lewis was named 2018 prosecutor of the year by Georgia MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving).

Lewis has a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from Mercer University School of Law. She lives in Macon.

Kimberly Anderson of Atlanta's Robbins Ross Alloy Belinfante Littlefield will join the DeKalb County State Court–Jury Division.

Anderson earned a bachelor's degree in international studies and Spanish from the University of Mississippi and a J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. She previously served as legislative counsel for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. She serves on the Federalist Society executive board-Atlanta chapter and lives in Dunwoody.

Kimberly Alexander will join the DeKalb County State Court-Traffic Division. She is currently an assistant county attorney for the Office of the Fulton County Attorney.

Alexander earned a bachelor's degree in English from Georgia State University and a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. She is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Children of the Courts Standing Committee, DeKalb Bar Association, Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, Atlanta Bar Association, Gate City Bar Association and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and its Judicial and Public Office Academy Committee. She lives in Decatur.

The governor appointed Gwinnett County Magistrate Court Judge Angela Duncan to an opening on the Gwinnett Judicial Circuit Superior Court.

Duncan earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from North Georgia College and a J.D. from John Marshall Law School. She is also the chief judge for the city of Chamblee's Municipal Court. She served in the U.S. Army Reserves from March 1987 to March 1995 as a lightweight vehicle mechanic. She lives in Lawrenceville.
