The race for an open seat on the Court of Appeals of Georgia just got harder for candidates but offers voters yet another choice.

Appeals attorney Lee Kynes became the eighth candidate to join the campaign, with a press release Monday touting his experience clerking for a federal appellate judge (Charles Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit) and working appellate litigation at a large corporate law firm (Holland & Knight, before he started a solo practice in 2015).
