Weissman has expanded its residential real estate law practice in Georgia.

The Atlanta-based real estate law firm has added two partners, David Reddick and Billy Norse, to open two new offices: a Conyers office with Reddick and one in Savannah with Norse.

The two additional offices give Weissman 16 offices in Georgia. The firm has almost 60 lawyers.

Reddick, who has a residential real estate practice, joined Weissman from King, Watts & Reddick, a commercial and residential real estate law firm that he joined in 2015. Before that, he was a partner at residential real estate firm Morris Hardwick Schneider, which filed for bankruptcy in July 2015 after an almost $30 million deficit was discovered in its escrow accounts one year earlier.

Reddick began practicing law in 1986 and has focused on real estate law since 1992, when he opened a Conyers office for Morris Hardwick Schneider.

Norse joined Weissman from his own firm, Norse Law Firm, in Savannah and focuses on commercial real estate transactions and home closings. He also handles wills, trusts and estates, and general civil litigation, including personal injury law. He serves as outside general counsel to several corporate clients.

Norse is a past chair of the State Bar of Georgia's Elder Law Committee. He was a member of the Georgia Leadership Academy Class of 2011 and the Leadership Savannah Class of 2009. Currently, he is a member of the Chatham County Board of Voter Registration and the Chatham County Law Library Board.

Weissman's founding partner, Seth Weissman, did not reply to a request for comment.
