The ban also extends to anyone who lives with or has had close contact with anyone who has traveled to China, Italy, Iran or South Korea within the past 14 days. It also includes anyone who has been asked to self-quarantine by any hospital or health agency or has been diagnosed with, or had contact with anyone else diagnosed with COVID-19.
The order issued by the U.S. District Chief Judge Thomas Thrash requires that any travelers or other people potentially exposed to coronavirus must inform court security upon entering the building and will be denied permission to enter.
Lawyers affected by the ban who have scheduled court appearances must notify the court and may appear via teleconference or videoconference with the approval of the presiding judge. The restrictions remain in place until further notice.
