Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard will pay a $6,500 fine to settle a 14-count complaint brought by the state ethics commission over Howard’s failure to report an estimated $170,000 in supplemental income that he channeled through two nonprofit organizations. 

The state Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission approved the consent agreement—which Howard signed in early July—at a meeting Thursday.
