While personal injury and civil rights attorney L. Chris Stewart has been in the national news speaking out around the country on behalf of grieving families who’ve lost loved ones to police violence, he’s also been busy building his law firm back home in Atlanta.

Stewart, 42, a Howard University law graduate, was managing partner of Stewart, Seay & Felton Trial Attorneys until the firm dissolved in 2018. He moved to a new office on Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard and worked on his own, continuing his personal injury case load while taking on new high-profile civil rights cases following police shootings. In January, he was joined by partner Justin Miller, 43, a graduate of St. John’s University Law School in Jamaica, New York.
