Throughout his career, Jack Dalton of Troutman Pepper has been a "bet-the-company" litigator. He obtained CNN's access to the White House in the 1980s when it was a fledgling network, won lawsuits that enabled the Time Warner-Turner merger in 1995 and served as Southern Co.'s lawyer of choice in its most difficult matters. He served as president of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2009.
