Just two weeks after oral arguments, a federal appeals court revived a badly injured motorcyclist's efforts to try to collect a $10 million bad faith judgment that a district court judge had thrown out.
The trial court deemed the woman's request that the at-fault driver's insurer provide his policy limits and not attempt to contact her further as "unreasonable."
