Following the news that no charges were filed against the Louisville, Kentucky, police officers who killed Breonna Taylor, State Rep. “Able” Mable Thomas, D-Atlanta, renewed her call for the Georgia General Assembly to ban the use of no-knock warrants.

“I strongly believe that neither Breonna Taylor nor Kathryn Johnston, who was my constituent, deserved to die at the hands of state and police misconduct. It is time to demand justice for Breonna Taylor as we did for Katheryn Johnston,” Thomas said.
