In lieu of its annual October gala, the Stonewall Bar Association of Georgia is awarding $33,000 to three local organizations serving Black transgender or gender nonbinary people.

The Stonewall bar, which is Georgia’s professional association for LGBTQ lawyers, judges and allies, has chosen the Trans Housing Atlanta Program, Ubuntu and the Dr. Annise Mabry Foundation as recipients of its newly-established racial justice grant.
