After delaying 18 months on whether to to remove a superior court judge from office,  the Supreme Court of Georgia on Monday dismissed the  case, saying evidence of an ethical breach “was not overwhelming.” 

But the opinion and a separate concurrence by Justice Keith Blackwell opens the door for former Griffin Circuit Superior Court Judge Robert M. “Mack”  Crawford to seek or hold judicial office again after he completes 12 months of probation.
