Dentons has hired as a partner Rodney Moore from Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, prompted by the desire to invest in its labor and employment practice during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dentons’ Atlanta managing partner Sharon Gay said she recruited Moore because his employment and education law practice, which includes public-sector clients like school systems, intersects with the firm’s public policy practice. When the global firm identified labor and employment law as a growth area for investment amid the pandemic, Gay added, she immediately thought of Moore, whom she and other public policy partners in Atlanta have known for 20 years.
