On remand from the state's appellate courts, DeKalb County State Court Judge Johnny Panos ruled that a jury's 2017 award of past medical expenses but no pain and suffering or other damages was "inconsistent" and required a new trial.

Following remand by the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, a DeKalb County judge reversed a prior decision upholding a medical malpractice verdict and ordered a new trial for a woman left permanently disabled by a stroke after being discharged from a hospital.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
