Compensation for partners at big firms in Atlanta lagged that in other major cities, but Atlanta partners’ satisfaction with their pay didn’t vary as much, recruiting firm Major Lindsey & Africa’s biennial partner compensation survey showed.

Average total compensation was $650,000 for the 43 Atlanta partners who participated, compared with $1,054,000 on average nationally. For the Atlanta respondents, average compensation was down 11% compared with Major Lindsey’s 2018 survey.
