On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations to attorney Nekia Hackworth Jones of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough in Atlanta on her selection as the new director of the Atlanta Regional Office of the U.S. Securities and Commission.
A member of the State Bar of Georgia since 2007, Ms. Jones is a former federal prosecutor with nearly 10 years of service as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, where she investigated complex fraud cases, including securities and investment fraud, mortgage fraud, tax fraud, healthcare fraud and public corruption. She also worked in the Office of the Deputy U.S. Attorney General, including service as executive director of the Financial Fraud Enforcement Task Force.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
