It is ironic that President Donald J. Trump may not be prosecuted because of First Amendment protections, but those who did exactly what they thought he asked them to do will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

As the world reflects on the storming of the U.S. Capitol, the question arises whether President Donald J. Trump could be charged with inciting a riot. He certainly urged the crowd at the Ellipse, a park near the White House, to march down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol.
