The case will be handled by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington. Late Friday afternoon Calhoun’s name was not on a Justice Department website with information on Capitol defendants, including all unsealed criminal complaints.

The Middle District’s acting U.S. Attorney, Peter Leary, said, “We are working closely with our colleagues at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and the FBI to consider all possible charges against those individuals from the Middle District of Georgia involved in the violence at the U.S. Capitol.”
