Burr & Forman has just hired a diversity and inclusion officer and a professional development officer, both new positions, as the Southeastern firm continues to expand.

With 360 lawyers, the Birmingham-based Am Law 200 firm had grown to a size such that it needed and could support dedicated professionals in those roles, said Burr’s managing partner, Ed Christian, particularly after its acquisition of McNair Law Firm two years ago, which at 85 lawyers was one of the largest firms in South Carolina.
