Georgia's last remaining U.S. attorney appointed by former President Donald Trump resigned Tuesday, following a call to do so by the Justice Department so President Joe Biden can pick his own team.
U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia Bobby Christine said his resignation had already been announced to his staff. He made it public and effective Tuesday.
