Lance Cooper cited the power of discovery when the Daily Report named him newsmaker of the year in 2014 for his work on an ignition switch products liability case that led General Motors to recall 30 million cars.

“I’m not a flamboyant trial lawyer. Some are and they can pull it off,” Cooper said then during an interview at the Cooper Firm in Marietta. “Cases are won and lost in discovery. If you don’t have the evidence you need, it doesn’t matter how good a trial lawyer you are.”
