Commercial real estate boutique Hartman Simons & Wood will significantly downsize its office space when it relocates to new digs near the Galleria in December. That was already the plan pre-pandemic for the Atlanta boutique, but the need has become even greater since more attorneys and paralegals will continue to work remotely post-pandemic.

With the firm’s lease set to expire in December at 6400 Powers Ferry Road, where it has been a tenant for more than 30 years, Hartman Simons has signed an 11-year lease for 17,000 square feet of Class A space in the Platinum Tower building at 400 Interstate Parkway—down from 25,000 square feet currently. The firm has about 30 lawyers and 60 total employees.
