Georgia law firms have overtaken law schools in the state legal community’s fundraising competition for the state’s food banks.

Around 4 p.m. on the second day of the Georgia Legal Food Frenzy, the Georgia Tech Office of the General Counsel jumped to its traditional early lead, with $17,668 raised. It was followed by Franzen and Salzano, a four-lawyer firm based in Peachtree Corners, which donated an even $10,000.
