The Georgia legal community closed in on having raised $220,000 for the states’ food banks Wednesday afternoon as teams competed on Day 3 of the two-week Legal Food Frenzy.

The stated goal of organizers is to raise $600,000 by midnight April 30. Each dollar translates to four meals for the estimated 1.7 million Georgians who do not know how they will get their next meal.
