A woman who suffered multiple injuries to her back, arm, leg and pelvis after her car was struck by a Georgia Department of Transportation truck has settled her claims against the agency for $1 million.

According to documents and a plaintiff’s account provided by plaintiff’s attorney Jonathan Pope of Hasty Pope Davies, the incident occurred Sept. 13, 2018, when Rebecca Bowling attempted to turn from Howard Road onto I-985 at the intersection near Gainesville.
