Hundreds of Atlanta law firms applied for PPP loans last year as the coronavirus pandemic upended legal jobs and budgets. And now it’s clear that most of them have been forgiven. 

Among the at least 212 Atlanta law firms that applied for loans, about two-thirds (140 firms) have had their loans forgiven—including several Am Law 200 firms, according to an analysis of ProPublica’s database of PPP forgiveness loan information.
