With the addition of former Morris, Manning & Martin of counsel Naveen Pogula on Monday, Cleveland-based Am Law 200 firm Thompson Hine is looking to grow its practice in the Southeast with a focus on public company representation.

Pogula, who joins Thompson Hine as a partner in its corporate transactions and securities practice in Atlanta, will advise public companies on corporate governance and securities matters. With a current practice of about eight to 10 clients, Pogula said he was drawn in by Thompson Hine’s strength in securities and capital markets work, calling it “a more robust platform.”
