DeKalb County State Court Judge Dax Lopez is packing up his chambers after 11 years on the bench to return to private practice with his friend and onetime colleague, former Judge J. Antonio DelCampo, along with DelCampo’s partner Randall Grayson.

The last day on the bench for Lopez will be Sept. 1, Wednesday. He will start work Sept. 13 with the plaintiff’s firm, which will be renamed DelCampo Grayson Lopez.
