An attorney’s attempt to unseat a gubernatorially appointed judge on the basis the governor allegedly took too long to make the appointment made its way before the Supreme Court of Georgia Thursday.

But after about 40 minutes of oral arguments, the remote proceeding concluded with the justices expressing concern over “mandamus” and “term-limit” arguments, raised by both sides over the governor’s contested appointment delay.
