A Court of Appeals of Georgia decision has defined “parent” as a verb, after a battle over motherhood amid ex-wives left one without rights to children she’d had ties to since birth.

Miles, an intermediate appellate panel made up of Court of Appeals of Georgia Presiding Judge Sara Doyle and Judges Trenton Brown III and Clyde Reese, upheld DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Gregory Adams’ decision to adjudicate Robin Miles as an equitable caregiver.
