Wesley C. Jackson of Freeman, Mathis & Gary has entered an appearance for Deputy Michael S. Atkins of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office in a pending wrongful arrest lawsuit. The action was filed Aug. 23 in Georgia Northern District Court by Spears & Filipovits on behalf of William Edward Brackett. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Richard W. Story, is 2:21-cv-00184, Brackett v. Atkins.
