A Georgia managed health care provider has agreed to settle a lawsuit after it was found liable for violating the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regarding claims made by one of its employees.

According to a news release and a court document, the lawsuit was filed in 2019 the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) on behalf of Sharion Murphy, an employee of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Georgia Inc., a subsidiary of Oakland, California-based Kaiser Permanente.
